This is a living document. As new programs, employers, and opportunities emerge, this guide will be updated. The goal is to surface what already exists but is fragmented — and make pathways obvious, accessible, and actionable.
What's New This Quarter
New programs, deadlines, and pathways added in October 2026. Each one also appears in the matching section below.
A $70 million Verizon initiative offering free AI training to job seekers, early-career professionals, displaced workers, educators, and small businesses. Data Center Operations
Data centers are the physical backbone of AI and cloud infrastructure. Oklahoma is adding significant capacity through Meta (East Tulsa) and Google's Pryor, Stillwater, and newly confirmed Project Clydesdale 506-acre campus near Owasso in Tulsa County, built with Beale Infrastructure (also confirmed by the Tulsa Regional Chamber). These roles typically do not require a four-year degree and offer competitive starting salaries.
Typical Entry Salaries in Oklahoma (2026)
| Level | Salary Range |
|---|---|
| Entry-Level Technician | $52,900 – $64,100 |
| Mid-Career (5-10 yrs) | $64,100 – $76,300 |
| Senior Specialist | $76,300+ |

- IT professionals — curious about infrastructure, cloud operations, or physical data center environments
- Career changers — industrial, manufacturing, and hands-on backgrounds. Most entry roles don't require a four-year degree
Worth knowing: most programs are tied to a specific employer or school, so timing matters. If one operator isn't hiring when you finish, the next step isn't always obvious. That coordination gap is closing as more programs connect, and it's the part of this path we track most closely.
Beale Infrastructure committed $3.5 million to Northeast Tech's Claremore campus, about 30 minutes from Tulsa, for classrooms, industry-aligned curriculum, and hands-on certifications in data-center operations, cybersecurity, and IT. Funding is planned in two installments across 2026–2027.
